The 3M™ Reusable Respirator Exhalation Valve Filter is designed to mount on the valve cover of 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirators 6000 Series. This filter is designed to help filter the exhaled breath of the respirator wearer and provides source control when worn with 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirators 6000 Series.

The 3M™ Reusable Respirator Exhalation Valve Filter can be easily installed and removed from 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirators 6000 Series. Users can conduct a positive pressure seal check while installed. The hard case can be wiped with 3M™ Respirator Cleaning Wipes. Users should replace the 3M™ Reusable Respirator Exhalation Valve Filter if damaged, if the filter media becomes soiled, or if breathing becomes difficult. This filter is a NIOSH-approved accessory only for use with 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirators 6000 Series, when used with 3M™ Particulate Filters 7093, 5N11/501/603, or 2091, and is not FDA cleared for use as a medical device for use in surgical applications.
