BD Eclipse™ 1 in. single-use sterile,  is a sterile and latex-free, with a shielding mechanism as a safety feature. It is not made with BPA, DEHP, or PVC and is not considered a hazardous material. The hub is made of blue polypropylene and is a luer type. The needle gauge is 23G with a length of 1 inch (25.40mm) and a regular tip type. It is a hypodermic needle with a thin wall and is safety engineered with a pivoting shielding mechanism.
